Keep an eye on goings on at the Central Bank of Cyprus, where executive director Stelios Kiliaris resigned from the board on Thursday, while also making a number of accusations in the House of Representatives in Nicosia.
The allegations involve graft within parts of the government, what Governor Chrystalla Georgadji knew about it and did or did not say about the matter at one of the bank’s internal meetings. Ms Georgadji, has denied all allegations and said she did not say the things she is alleged to have said.
